Vestar Japan Advisers, K.K., is a wholly owned advisory affiliate of Vestar Capital Partners (“Vestar”), a leading global private equity firm.

Our team has partnered with three Japanese companies, helping management at Sumitomo Rubber buy U.S. tire manufacturer Dunlop Tires; investing with Fukutake Shoten, now Benesse Corporation, to acquire a U.S.-based provider of childhood education services; and teaming with a Japanese trading company to buy Argo-Tech, a leading U.S. aerospace company.
